Role description

   • We are looking for a data analyst who understands stakeholder data needs, analyzes and applies healthcare domain knowledge to define requirements, partners with squad leader and an agile development team to deliver solutions, visualize and demo insights from the data sets, create impactful knowledge articles, and empower healthcare and enterprise stakeholders in effectively using data to meet their use cases.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50 - $55 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

   • Boost stakeholder satisfaction by understand their needs, offering through support and guidance on developed artifacts, and ensuring effective use, thereby enhancing customer/client value.

   • Improved decision-making, converting requirements into technical documentation and product backlog to deliver effective solutions.

   • Streamlined communication and Data Stewardship to effective share data knowledge across the enterprise.

Requirements:

   • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into business-friendly and detail-oriented data requirements to bridge the gap between business and technical world.

   • Outstanding interpersonal skills with experience collaborating and influencing across all levels of the organization including written, verbal, and technology illustrations.

   • Medium to advanced SQL query writing experience is a must (to analyze data and advice consumers on their data needs).

   • Solid understanding of data lineage. Ability to breakdown and detail the end-to-end flow of data from origination to consumption.

   • Familiarity with Healthcare/benefits administration domain and concepts a plus.

   • Experience in BI reporting or data visualization using PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization a plus.

   • Experience working in Agile, iterative, priority-based product delivery. Advocating data literacy and self-service adoption.

   • Expert level analysis skills in the form of research, gap analysis, data mining, and data profiling.

   • Understanding of different data warehousing and database platforms (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, Data Bricks, Hadoop, Microsoft SQL Server) usages (OLTP Recordkeeping, ODS, MDM, Warehousing, and Data Lakes).

   • Understanding of data modeling strategies (dimensional, relational, unstructured) a plus

   • Outspoken and engaged data practitioner, collaborating with the Squad Leader and Scrum-teams to deliver high quality data solutions.

   • Go-getter, self-sufficient, and willing to exhaust all research avenues before seeking help or discontinuing the search for answers.

   • Accepts uncertainty and can combine various sources of information including personal data experimentation, research, and dialogues to formulate answers.

   • Conduct data analysis to find the right sources for the project and profile needed tables.

   • Partner with teammates to ensure that all project artifacts (requirements, data summarization, data flow and model deployment architecture diagrams) are detailed and posted to the team confluence site.

   • Partner with teammates to discover the best locations to source and store data, to help design data models, to document data workflows and support AI model development and measurement reporting for deployed implementations.

Education:

   • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience required; master’s degree preferred.
