Onsite: 5 Days Each Week
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Compensation $45 - $58/Hour
Domain: Retail
This Analyst role works with the Merchandising workstream to own in-stock performance
measurement, develop guardrails and compliance reporting, and support promo readiness
and days-of-supply optimization. The successful candidate will deliver actionable insights
on shelf holding power, tail SKU behavior, and vendor dependencies to drive availability
improvements.
Required Skills:
Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; strong SQL proficiency; R or Python preferred
• Demonstrated experience with merchandising analytics across DSD and/or Center Store and Perishables (in-stock/OSA, promo performance, supplier scorecards)
• Proven ability to build guardrails/compliance reporting and translate analytics into operational actions
• Experience with supplier performance management and escalation processes
Desired Skills:
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; strong SQL proficiency; R or Python preferred
• Demonstrated experience with merchandising analytics across DSD and/or Center Store

• Proven ability to build guardrails/compliance reporting and translate analytics into
operational actions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to support supplier enablement and
cross-functional decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment
• High level of analytical ability and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple analytical workstreams simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience with supplier performance management and escalation processes
Key Responsibilities
• Own merchandising in-stock performance analytics (DSD + Center Store + Perishables);
track OSA drivers tied to DSD performance, shelf holding power, and tail SKU behavior
• Support supplier onboarding (e.g., KeHe and perishable suppliers) with performance
views and reporting
• Develop guardrails and compliance analytics; measure supplier performance versus
escalation guardrails (e.g., <90% OSA for 2 periods) and provide reporting to operationalize
escalation mechanisms
• Deliver promo readiness analytics; use deeper historical data and tools such as "Top Ten
Commodity Lost Sales" to flag risk earlier and quantify expected lost sales exposure
• Support Center Store case pack-out and DOS modeling; evaluate scenarios (e.g., ~10%
pack-out increases) and quantify impacts to days of supply and in-stock performance
• Perform perishable holding power analysis; quantify DOS/holding power opportunities
and identify items/categories driving outs due to insufficient shelf holding power
• Conduct Peyton dependency analysis; assess what percentage of promo items come
from Peyton, quantify risk and impact of misses, and support setting standards/thresholds
for WDDs
• Create process adherence reporting; provide visibility to constrained item processes, new
item setup impacts on in-stock, pending constrained items reporting, and usage of tools
like "Top 100" to drive action
