Role description
Data Migration Analyst β Contract | Remote (occasional travel to Ipswich/Norwich)
We're working with a well-regarded charity based in Ipswich to find an experienced data analyst for a CRM migration project. This is a contract engagement of around four to six weeks, predominantly remote, and needs to get moving quickly.
The role
The charity is moving from Raiser's EdgeΒ to Donorfy and needs someone who can own the data side of that transition end to end. That means extracting data cleanly from Raiser's Edge, mapping it accurately to Donorfy's schema, running test imports to validate the transfer, and then managing the full data uplift alongside the internal data insights team. There'll also be some light housekeeping work on the way through β identifying redundant or outdated records that don't need to make the journey across.
Donorfy have a strong project support team in place, so you won't be navigating the new platform alone. That said, the extraction side is where the real complexity sits, so confidence with Raiser's Edge is essential.
What we're looking for
β’ Solid hands-on experience with Raiser's Edge β data exports, understanding of how documents, actions and histories are stored
β’ Experience of CRM data migration projects, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
β’ Comfortable working independently and at pace β there's a hard deadline on this one
β’ Donorfy experience would be a bonus but is not essential
β’ UK based
The detail
This is a contract role, likely outside IR35. The work is almost entirely remote with the possibility of one or two visits to Ipswich or Norwich to sit with the data insights team. Duration is four to six weeks with an urgent start.
If you've done this kind of work before β particularly within fundraising CRMs β we'd love to hear from you.
