Role description
Support the Clean Energy Siting Team by developing, maintaining, and improving data tools, databases, mapping systems, and dashboards related to clean energy project siting across New York State.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain databases tracking local laws, clean energy project data, and development milestones.
• Create data visualizations (internal and public) using Tableau or ArcGIS.
• Develop and operationalize metrics to measure program impact.
• Identify and address data or knowledge gaps.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and datasets for internal/external stakeholders.
• Present key findings to Client leadership and collaborate on cross-team projects.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong experience with data visualization and mapping software – ESRI ArcGIS and Tableau preferred.
• Proven understanding of database development, maintenance, and utilization.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and project management tools.
• Ability to translate technical data into insights for non-technical audiences.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
