About the Role We are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong background in medical claims data and advanced SQL skills to join our team. This role is critical for transforming complex healthcare datasets into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes, optimize operations, and support compliance initiatives. Key Responsibilities β€’ Analyze and interpret large volumes of medical claims data (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial) to identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers. β€’ Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction, validation, and reporting. β€’ Build dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings to stakeholders. β€’ Ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, clinical) to support data-driven decision-making. Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. β€’ 3+ years of experience working with medical claims data (eligibility, facility header/detail, professional files). β€’ Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures). β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. β€’ Familiarity with healthcare coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) is a plus. Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing. β€’ Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (Python/R). β€’ Understanding of healthcare regulations and payer systems. Compensation: $40-$45/hour
