Hybrid in Charlotte, NC, New York, or Iselin, New Jersey or Chicago, IL
CW – Data Analyst
Experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in reference data, security master management, and financial data analysis within asset management and investment banking environments. Skilled in data sourcing, validation, and reconciliation across Eagle, Bloomberg, Charles River, and GoldenSource platforms.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end setup, enrichment, and maintenance of securities and reference data in Eagle (PACE, STAR, Data Management) and related systems.
• Reconcile and validate data from Bloomberg, CRD, GoldenSource, and internal sources ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Handle security master maintenance across asset classes — equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, and funds.
• Support data feeds and integration (Bloomberg BPIPE, Refinitiv, Markit) and resolve data exceptions.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Operations to support trade enablement and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in UAT, data quality, automation, and process improvement initiatives (Alteryx, Python, VBA, SQL).
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to inform business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and control frameworks through documentation and monitoring.
Technical Expertise
• Eagle, Bloomberg (BBG Terminal, AIM, PORT), Charles River (CRD), GoldenSource (MDM)
• SQL, Excel (advanced), VBA, Python, Alteryx
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments and market data products/tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; adaptable to global and fast-paced environments.
Preferred: Experience in middle/front office operations, trade lifecycle understanding, and prior exposure to process automation.
