Role description
Data Analyst (Fixed-Term Contract) – £70,000 I'm looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a live strategic transaction workstream within a SaaS platform business. This is a fixed-term contract role offering £70,000, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. In this role, you will take ownership of preparing investor-grade data outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and auditability across all materials. You’ll restructure and reconcile complex datasets across revenue, customer, and CRM systems, respond to time-sensitive analysis requests, and support the creation of management presentations and due diligence materials. Working closely with senior stakeholders and external advisors, you’ll translate commercial and subscription based metrics into clear, defensible insights. You’ll also build and maintain analytical models, support financial and scenario analysis, and ensure alignment between transaction outputs and business-as-usual reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling or accounting experience, be confident working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot, and have hands-on experience with Salesforce data. Solid SQL skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Previous exposure to M&A or due diligence processes is advantageous.
