Apply via Dice today! • Location: Atlanta, Georgia • Work Arrangement: 100% Remote • Contract: This is a Contract position. • Mode of Interview: In Person Only (Note: Interviews are conducted in person, but the work arrangement is remote.) Primary Duties And Responsibilities • Data Extraction: Extract primary data from Oracle Database using SQL with minimal supervision. • Analysis & Reporting: Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide accurate, ongoing reports to fulfill internal and external data requests. • Research & Evaluation: Oversee evaluation and research projects, collaborating with external partners to ensure data point understanding. • Data Quality: Identify, compile, and 'clean' complex quantitative and/or qualitative data for research purposes, identifying trends, patterns, and discrepancies. • Communication: Summarize and explain research findings and their implications to leadership and stakeholders. • Visualization: Produce high-quality data visualization dashboards using Tableau. • Mentorship: Assist with orientation, training, or providing task guidance to junior team members. Preferred Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will have significant experience in accessing, analyzing, and presenting complex data sets: • Databases & Programming: Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL, Oracle), reporting packages (Business Objects), and programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks). • Data Access: Significant experience in accessing and extracting data from organizational and/or other institutional databases. • Analytical Strength: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. • Data Visualization: Proven experience in data visualization software, specifically Tableau. • Domain Expertise: 2+ years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis. • Presentation: Proficient skills in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
