β’ Hybrid - in Warren, MI with at least 3 days/week on-site.
Job Description
The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.
Responsibilities
β’ Work with senior management, technical, and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies
β’ Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to the management system, or direct others in coding descriptions
β’ Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes
β’ Modify existing databases and database management systems, and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes
β’ Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications
Skills And Qualifications
β’ A bachelor's degree in a preferred field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field preferred
β’ 2-4 years of applicable experience required
β’ Knowledge of automotive dealer operations, automotive industry, or basic technical knowledge of vehicle repairs preferred
β’ Experience with database technologies and knowledge of ETL process
β’ Knowledge of SQL or at least one scripting language
β’ Experience with BI tools or enterprise data systems like Power BI or SAP preferred
β’ Strong written and oral communication skills
β’ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
β’ Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions
