Chapman Tate is looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in the transportation and logistics sector to join a high-impact, fast-paced contract engagement. This role is ideal for someone who can bring deep industry insight into logistics data, operations, and performance reporting.
Overview
Youβll be supporting a strategic data initiative focused on improving supply chain visibility, fleet performance, and operational decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, using data to drive business-critical insights and actionable recommendations.
Must-Have Experience
β’ Proven experience as a Data Analyst in transportation, logistics, freight.
β’ Strong skills in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python or R)
β’ Experience working with datasets from WMS, TMS, ERP, or fleet management systems
β’ Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data clearly
β’ Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs across transportation, warehousing, and fleet operations
β’ Clean, model, and analyse logistics data (e.g. routing, deliveries, delays, fuel usage, etc.)
β’ Support decision-making through actionable insights and data storytelling
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
β’ Identify data quality issues and recommend solutions
β’ Present findings to senior management and non-technical audiences
