Data Analyst

Duration: 12-month contract Job Description: Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Transportation/Supply Chain/Operations discipline • Strong Math, Logical, Problem-Solving skills • Strong analytical abilities and high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models using SQL and Microsoft Excel. Analyst work background, or a focus in higher education • Conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Partnering with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and reporting requirements. • Pull, query, and validate data from multiple tables and data sources using SQL. • Run existing scripts and develop new scripts to support recurring and ad hoc analysis. • Build and refresh dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Utilize Excel extensively for data analysis, including the use of pivot tables, lookups, and data cleaning. • Scripting language like Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analysis when needed. • Connect and manage data from different data repositories and systems to support analysis Must-Have Skills • SQL Proficiency • Tech Savvy, previous work background in industry, not college background • Written and oral communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills • Scripting languages (Python or any other) About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on demand and total workforce solutions.
