Location: Eagan, MN Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description: Senior Data Analyst Location: Fully Remote Job Type: Contract | 6 - 12+ Months About The Role The client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the development and integration of application and enterprise-level data models. This role plays a critical part in shaping data architecture, driving process improvements, and mentoring internal teams on data management best practices. You'll collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities • Perform advanced data analysis using standardized methodologies; recommend enhancements to improve data quality and efficiency. • Maintain deep expertise in Epic systems, especially Epic Payer Platform (EPP) and related modules. • Integrate application-level data models into the broader enterprise data architecture. • Plan and estimate tactical tasks related to data modeling and integration. • Define training requirements for data methodology and repository tools. • Identify and implement repository object requirements based on internal systems and customer needs. • Develop and maintain metadata procedures for data administration, database management, development teams, and business users. • Establish repository access strategies and define interface training requirements. • Mentor Information Systems (IS) staff in data modeling and management practices. • Continuously enhance technical and business knowledge through training and hands-on experience. Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, modeling, or related fields. Relevant education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. • Proven expertise with Epic Payer Platform (EPP) and Epic modules. • Strong background in healthcare data integration and interoperability. • Proficiency in SQL, MVS Job Control Language, and general programming concepts. • Familiarity with data modeling tools and data analysis frameworks. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
