Job description: Job Title: Project Analyst – ( Data Analyst) Location: San Diego CA 92121 Duration: 06 + Months Contract (With the possibility of extension) Work Shift: M-F (1st shift) Job Description Supports engineering compute operations by analysing usage data, monitoring capacity dashboards, and helping optimize resource allocation. Collaborates with engineering and IT teams to improve efficiency and ensure accurate reporting across projects. Key Responsibilities: Monitor engineering compute dashboards to track utilization, capacity, and identify performance trends or anomalies. Analyze compute usage data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and resource allocation. Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations for leadership review. Collaborate with engineering and IT to support compute optimization initiatives and reduce resource waste. Assist in implementing new or existing tracking tools, schedules, databases, and documentation systems. Coordinate across teams for mid-sized projects, ensuring progress updates and adherence to guidelines. Required Skills: Strong data analysis and interpretation skills. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling preferred). Ability to understand and work with technical and engineering concepts. Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Proven ability to proactively track, manage, and close tasks with timely stakeholder updates. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree; OR High School Diploma with 2+ years related experience. Experience in technical environments or engineering operations preferred.
