Role description

Role And Responsibilities Under the direction of OAI Data Administrators, assists in all activities related to the administration of computerized aviation-related statistical databases. This includes the activities of data collection, editing, processing, and dissemination functions, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for same. Additionally, assists the OAI Data Administrators in the formulation and/or implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to database management, processing, security maintenance, and dissemination. Advises OAI Data Administrators relative to technical database problems, priorities, and methodologies. In consultation with OAI Data Administrators, exercise judgment in resolving technical problems and issues that arise relative to aviation-related data processing, editing, and dissemination. In consultation with OAI Data Administrators, consults with and advises database users relative to procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methodologies. The above activities will relate to one or more of the following aviation datasets: • U.S. Air Carrier Form 41 Air Carrier Financial Data • U.S. Air Carrier Form 41 Air Carrier T-100 Nonstop Segment and On-Flight Market Traffic Data • Foreign Air Carrier T-100(f) Nonstop Segment and On-Flight Market Traffic Data • Airline Passenger Origin-Destination (O&D) Survey • Airline Service Quality Performance Data Files and Reports (ASQP) • Form 298-C Small Certificated & Commuter Air Carrier Financial and Traffic Data • Air Carrier Traffic and Other Data provided to the U.N.'s International Civil Aviation Required Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of 10+ years of related experience. • A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in aviation data collection, processing, and dissemination is very desirable.
