BI Data Analyst
Overview of the Project
This role supports high-impact analytics work across two different business units, delivering insights that are visible up to senior leadership and the CβSuite. The analyst will help drive a project backed by strong organizational support, contributing data-driven findings that inform key business decisions, funding justification, and the broader business case. This work requires someone who can interpret complex enterprise data, build meaningful analysis, and translate insights into clear, consumable outputs that support leadership and downstream stakeholders.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
β’ Perform in-depth analysis using enterprise healthcare datasets.
β’ Build supplemental analyses beyond standard reporting to support leadership, sales teams, and customer-facing deliverables.
β’ Consume and analyze dataβnot a data engineering role; focus on insights and interpretation.
β’ Translate data findings into organized, consumable outputs for business stakeholders.
β’ Conduct open-ended research and self-directed discovery based on an initial analytical framework.
β’ Work cross-functionally to clarify data needs, assumptions, and business context.
Required Skills & Technical Experience
β’ Strong analytical skillset with experience performing structured and supplemental analysis.
β’ Proficiency in SQL querying for data extraction and validation.
β’ Background in healthcare analytics or healthcare data environments.
β’ Experience with Power BI for data visualization and consumption.
β’ Ability to learn QuickSight quickly; experience with BI tools is transferable and training will be provided.
β’ Experience working within an enterprise analytics environment.
β’ High attention to detail with the ability to prepare polished, accurate analytical outputs.
β’ Ability to perform independent discovery and open research as part of the analytical process.
Preferred Experience
β’ Familiarity with healthcare data coding structures (e.g., ICD, CPT, DRG).
β’ Experience producing executive-level or customer-facing analytical content.

β’ Naturally curious with a strong desire to ask questions and explore data beyond the surface level.
β’ Data-savvy and detail-oriented.
