Direct End Client: California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Job Title: Data Analyst Duration: 36 Months Location: Hybrid / Remote (Candidates must be within 50 miles of Sacramento, CA) Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Interview Type: Web cam/ In-Person Ceipal ID: SCA_DA911_PT Job Code: 26.08.17\_Cal OES - NG 911 Position Summary The Data Analyst will support the NG 9-1-1 program through data collection, reporting, analytics, dashboard development, performance measurement, and executive reporting. The analyst will provide actionable insights that assist Cal OES in monitoring migration progress and program performance. Responsibilities: • Collect, validate, and analyze project performance data. • Develop dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and scorecards. • Generate monthly, quarterly, and executive reports. • Maintain project databases and reporting repositories. • Track migration milestones and statewide readiness metrics. • Support risk analysis and forecasting activities. • Produce data visualizations and presentations. • Assist leadership in strategic decision-making through analytical reporting. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools. • Experience creating executive dashboards and KPI reporting. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Public sector reporting experience. • Emergency services or NG 9-1-1 program experience. • SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platform expertise. • Experience supporting large IT modernization programs.
