Role description
Peak Performers has partnered with a managed care organization to assist in their search for a remote Data Analyst II. In this position, you will integrate, conform, profile and map data, and provide quality assurance oversight (data error detection and correction) on business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed, or used.
Major duties
β’ Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources including claims, provider, member, and encounters data. Identify and assess the business impact of trends.
β’ Develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex scripts and reports developed using SQL, Microsoft Excel, or other analytics tools.
β’ Identify and perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings and proposed solutions to leadership and/or customers.
β’ Manage multiple intermediate, variable tasks and data review processes with limited supervision within targeted timelines and thrives in a demanding, quickly changing environment.
β’ Provide business solution architecture and implementation validation.
β’ Engage in data profiling and source to target mapping.
β’ Work on moderately complex data integration from disparate sources.
β’ Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understands how customers interact with analytic products.
β’ Support multiple functions and levels of the organization and effectively, both verbally and visually, communicates findings and insights to non-technical business partners.
β’ Engage with customers and business partners to gather requirements and validate results.
β’ Present data-driven insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders, soliciting and incorporating feedback when required.
What are we looking for?
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a quantitative or business field, such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
β’ 2β4 years of related experience.
β’ Experience with job scheduling and workload automation.
β’ Experience with technical documentation and dependency mapping for migration projects.
β’ Experience with MFT/SFTP file transfer operations and troubleshooting.
β’ Experience with big data and data processing.
β’ Experience with data manipulation and data mining.
β’ Experience with one or more of the following: C#, Java, Python, SQL, programming concepts, or programming tools.
β’ Experience with Agile software development.

β’ 3 month contract with opportunity for extension
