Job Overview:
A Data Analyst II interprets data and transforms it into actionable insights to improve business operations and influence decision-making. This role involves gathering data from various sources, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings in a comprehensive manner to relevant stakeholders. The position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate with teams to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to design and develop schemas, data acquisition transformations, and data integration processes.
• Develop and utilize software to interface big data and relational solutions.
• Design and implement solutions for metadata, data quality, and privacy management.
• Support and consult with development staff on data-related projects.
• Collect and interpret data from various sources.
• Analyze results and report findings to relevant members of the business.
• Identify patterns and trends in data sets to provide actionable insights.
• Work alongside teams within the business or management to establish business needs.
• Define new data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Proficiency in translating business requirements into non-technical terms.
• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
