Data Analyst III

We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst III to support risk and analytics initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role is data-intensive and requires a strategic problem solver who can translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguous environments, demonstrate strong ownership, and collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and risk teams to drive impactful decisions. • Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid) • Contract Duration: Till June 2026 (Possible Extension) • Rate Range- $45-55/hr on W2 • Only W2 Candidates, NO C2C Responsibilities: • Develop risk insights by extracting and analyzing large datasets from incidents, product portfolios, and operational metrics • Design and implement risk policies to manage credit risk, fraud prevention, and portfolio-level risks • Monitor and optimize risk strategies by tracking performance and identifying improvement opportunities • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver scalable risk management frameworks across the customer lifecycle • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and risk operations • Translate complex data findings into clear recommendations and business insights Required Qualifications: Technical Skills • Minimum 4+ years of experience in data analytics • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis • Experience building dashboards using Tableau for self-service analytics and insights • Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills • Working knowledge of Python is a plus • Exposure to machine learning frameworks and models is a plus Domain Experience • Experience in risk analytics, fraud, or financial risk domains is a plus • Experience working with product, operations, and engineering teams in cross-functional environments Education • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management, or related field Soft Skills • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and integrity If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
