This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hrs/week), hybrid contract role (Onsite 3 days / week, Tuesday-Thursday) located in Culver City, CA.
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PMO Analyst to support a dynamic media and entertainment company in evaluating and optimizing a large portfolio of projects. This role plays a critical part in aligning project performance with strategic goals through data-driven insights, storytelling, and resource planning.
Our Ideal Candidate
9–12+ years of experience in project portfolio analysis, planning, or related strategic roles
Passion for project operations and data analysis, with a strong foundation in performance monitoring and business insights
Proficient in Tableau, Excel (advanced formulas and pivot tables), and scripting tools such as Python or SQL
Familiar with project management platforms and frameworks (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, JIRA)
Skilled in collaborating with project managers, analysts, and business leads across teams
Able to work independently and manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines
Flexible and adaptable to shifting business goals and fast-paced environments
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
A creative problem-solver who can translate complex data into actionable strategies
Job Description
In this role, you will analyze and manage a complex collection of projects, focusing on identifying trends, uncovering risks and opportunities, and aligning execution with organizational goals.
You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders including project management, resource planning, and leadership teams to deliver actionable reporting and performance dashboards. This includes developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards, interpreting large datasets, tracking resource usage, and providing insights to guide strategic decisions.
You will also support ongoing portfolio reporting, performance analysis, and process improvement recommendations—enhancing the PMO’s overall success and business impact.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, project management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in analytics, project operations, or strategic planning
Experience in media, entertainment, or tech industries a plus

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $75.00 – $80.30 per hour
