Data Analyst IV

Position: Data Analyst IV Location: Chicago, Illinois Duration: Contract Job ID: 172251 Job Overview: A Data Analyst IV is responsible for interpreting data and transforming it into actionable insights that can drive business improvements and inform decision-making. This role involves gathering data from various sources, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings in a clear and comprehensive manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating PowerBI dashboards and working with large-scale databases. Responsibilities: • Collaborate to design and develop schemas, data acquisition transformations, and data integration processes. • Develop and utilize software to interface big data and relational solutions. • Design and implement solutions for metadata, data quality, and privacy management. • Support and consult with development staff on data-related projects. • Collect and interpret data from various sources. • Analyze results and report findings to relevant stakeholders. • Identify patterns and trends in data sets to inform business decisions. • Work alongside teams within the business or management to establish data-driven business needs. • Define new data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: • Technical degree or equivalent related work experience. • Proven ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations. • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms for broader understanding. • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases. • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases. • Experience in creating PowerBI dashboards is required.
