Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Analyst IVΒ with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00/hr;Β W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Description:
The client is undertaking a significant initiative to advance artificial intelligence (AI), with a strong emphasis on ensuring the accuracy of data used to build effective AI models. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders to identify and document analytics use cases and will coordinate with various stakeholders throughout the process. This role requires a solid understanding of data governance policies and procedures like audits, redaction and retention. To excel, the candidate must combine technical expertise, project management capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple business groups
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
β’ Intellectually curious and creative, eager to generate ideas to solve business problems
β’ Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
β’ Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to multitask with minimal oversight
β’ Capable of building, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with executives, key clients and subject matter experts while working in a team environment.
The successful candidate will have the following skillset:
β’ Strong communication skills
β’ Strong exploratory analysis skills
β’ Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
β’ Exemplary problem solving, decision making and attention to detail
β’ Demonstrated ability to lead efforts across multiple business groups
β’ Success in project management or process improvement
Nice to have skills:
β’ Experience with product testing and usability testing
β’ Intermediate SQL skills, and experience developing queries on large datasets
β’ Experience in writing effective test cases/scripts and maintain a traceability matrix
β’ Experience developing, optimizing, and/or maintaining data visualizations (e.g., Power BI/Tableau)
Responsibilities:
β’ Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders during the CDAIS intake process.
β’ Collaborate with executives, key clients, and subject matter experts to ensure successful outcomes.
β’ Provide administrative and monitoring support for Customer Data & AI Strategy & Governance teams, including
β’ Security access audits
β’ Consumer Privacy Act based redaction requests
β’ Monitoring record retention history
β’ Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
β’ Translate business initiatives into requisite data engineering tasks
β’ Authoring functional report designs, test scenarios and test cases for Analytics & Reporting
β’ Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
β’ Assist with creating training documentation and job-aids
β’ Sharing findings with team members and leadership in a regular cadence
Preferred skills and qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
β’ 5-10 years of prior work experience in environments with disparate data sources
β’ Previous experience using cloud data warehouses
β’ Previous experience using stream processing platforms
β’ Previous experience using data privacy or PII data regulatory requirements
