Role description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports to support decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, proficiency in various analytical tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Duties Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights. Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams utilizing Agile methodologies to ensure project goals are met. Conduct business analysis to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and implement database structures using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for statistical analysis and automation of tasks. Create detailed documentation of processes, including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies. Employ VBA for automating repetitive tasks in Excel or other applications. Use Visio for process mapping and workflow design. Work with Bash (Unix shell) scripting for data processing tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in data analysis with strong analytical skills. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design principles. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Knowledge of programming languages including R, Python, and VBA is preferred. Experience in project management methodologies within an Agile framework is a plus. Strong understanding of business analysis concepts and practices. Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
