Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in-office, Cambridge)
Contract: 3–6 months (Inside IR35)
Day Rate: £200 - 300 (negotiable based on experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the documentation and clarification of legacy systems. The successful candidate will focus on mapping data flows and system dependencies to improve transparency and lay the foundation for future enhancements within reporting across all business metrics.
Key Responsibilities
• Document existing data flows and dependencies across Excel, Access, and SQL Server.
• Identify connections between files and systems, clarifying data origins and processing steps.
• Provide clear documentation to support internal teams and future system improvements.
• Support the business in maintaining and developing critical reports.
Skills & Experience Required
• Essential:
• Advanced skills in Excel and Access.
• Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
• Ability to document and map complex data flows.
• Desirable:
• Power BI experience (beneficial for future development).
