Role description
Job Title: Data Analyst (temporary)
Location: Luton (Office-based with some flexibility)
Contract: Fixed-term, 2–3 months
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a 2–3 month temporary contract based in Luton. This is a hands-on role working closely with senior management, finance, and operational teams to enhance reporting, improve data quality, and support key business initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who can quickly add value, streamline reporting processes, and deliver meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce and distribute regular reporting packs for external public bodies and stakeholders
• Prepare and automate the monthly management pack, delivering detailed business, operational, and financial analysis
• Generate statistical insights to support business development and profile-raising initiatives
• Analyse business drivers and evaluate the performance of ongoing initiatives to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate closely with the management team on performance analysis and reporting
• Design, analyse, and report on customer satisfaction surveys across the business
• Work cross-functionally to improve the quality, accessibility, and structure of business data
• Support ad hoc projects, including reporting on property pipeline and new business expansion deployment
• Assist with the migration of data from legacy systems into Omniledger and other platforms
• Establish and document clear processes for extracting and consolidating data from multiple sources
• Liaise with external IT support to ensure data accuracy and consistency within Omniledger
• Deliver training to finance and other internal teams on Power BI usage and reporting best practices Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
• Strong Power BI skills (including dashboard creation and training end users)
• Experience automating reporting processes
• Confident working with financial and operational datasets
• Experience supporting system migrations and data cleansing projects
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large datasets
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to hit the ground running
