Data Analyst (GenAI Focus)
📍 London / Edinburgh (Hybrid – 2 Days)
📄 6-Month Contract | Day Rate: £450-£500/day (Inside IR35)
Our client, a top global organization, is seeking a skilled Data Analyst with GenAI exposure to join a high-impact financial services programme. This role will focus on delivering data-driven insights, supporting AI-led initiatives, and enabling strategic decision-making through advanced analytics. As a GenAI Data Analyst, you will deliver end-to-end data analysis, generate actionable insights, and support AI-driven capabilities. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver end-to-end data analysis using SQL and Python
• Generate insights, automate processes, and support strategic decision-making
• Build interactive dashboards and visualisations for performance tracking
• Create customer/policy data cohorts using enterprise tools in line with programme requirements
• Develop analytical insights from large-scale banking datasets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions
• Support alignment with broader analytics and data teams
Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis
• Advanced SQL skills (Snowflake / AWS environments preferred)
• Experience using visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QuickSuite)
• Familiarity with AWS data and AI services
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience managing stakeholders in a structured enterprise environment
• Good understanding of data dependencies and governance across analytics teams
Desirable
• Exposure to GenAI or AI-driven analytics initiatives
• Experience working within financial services environments
• Understanding of cloud-native data architectures
• Experience using GitLab or similar version control tools
