The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, generating insights, creating reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across insurance operations, underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze large datasets related to life insurance policies, claims, underwriting, and customer data
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks
• Identify trends, patterns, and business insights to improve operational efficiency
• Support actuarial, finance, and compliance reporting needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Product, and Operations
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
• Strong experience in Life Insurance domain
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of policy administration, underwriting, claims, and insurance workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Python or R
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS
