Role description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Data Analyst with a deep understanding of data modeling principles and advanced SQL skills. Will elicit, analyze, and document data requirements, support cleansing and migration of data, ensuring data integrity, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong emphasis on data modelling and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
• Experience in the VA healthcare or supply chain logistics industry.
• Understanding of VISTA software data architecture.
• Experience in the data architecture and business process of the Service Now/Nuvolo application.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
• Currently working the Veterans Administration (VA)
• Active clearance for Public Trust Position
