Overview
We’re seeking a Data Analyst to support data‑driven decision making across technology, governance, and business teams. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft 365. You will contribute to data collection, validation, reporting, and documentation while gaining exposure to enterprise data practices.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal systems.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Execute list comparisons and lookups (e.g., VLOOKUP).
• Conduct basic trend analysis and flag anomalies or data quality issues.
• Support operational metrics, performance tracking, and management summaries.
Microsoft 365 & Tooling
• Build analyses using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, basic modeling).
• Create and update documentation and report packages in Word.
• Produce executive‑ready presentations in PowerPoint.
• Use SharePoint and Teams for documentation workflows and version control.
• Support reporting and documentation for ADO work items, deliverables, and metrics.
• Assist with automating or standardizing reporting using Microsoft 365 features.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
Process & Documentation
• Document data definitions, logic, assumptions, and sources.
• Maintain metric traceability aligned to ADO work items (features, user stories, tasks).
• Support audit‑ready documentation and evidence preparation.
• Follow established data governance, security, and quality standards.
Collaboration
• Partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, and governance groups.
• Respond to data inquiries and clarify reporting requirements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, or analytical support role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including:
• Excel: formulas, pivot tables, data validation (Power Query a plus)
• Word: structured documentation, formatting, version control
• PowerPoint: clear, data‑driven visuals
• Teams & SharePoint: collaboration and document management
• Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) for work item tracking and metrics
Preferred Skills
• Strong attention to detail; values accuracy and completeness.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity about data patterns and root causes.
• Highly organized and dependable in managing tasks and documentation.
