We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Data Analyst to focus on research and analysis for the PV & BESS markets; the analyst will conduct research and as an Analyst will lead report development.

• Role Overview:
•
• Sungrow USA Corp is looking to bring a Data Analyst on board with a focus on the PV, Storage, and emerging renewable energy markets. In this role you will be a key part of Sungrow USA’s Data Analytics team and will support the development of research development for the local market. The Analyst position will work with Sungrow’s commercial teams and broader local strategy departments to provide insights and analysis from internal and external data sources.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Design internal market research reports, interpret significant metrics, highlight key takeaways, and identify next steps from findings.
• Perform general research on the American energy markets and report relevant information that could impact the industry.
• Develop and manage databases and pipeline data to support and facilitate cross departmental operations.
• Become a SME on the internal data tools that we use; collaborate with our data partners to gain a better understanding of the platforms and help Sungrow use these platforms to their full extent.
• Build and create dashboards: as Sungrow grows find the data that we are missing or organize the data that we have in more readable ways.

• Required Qualifications:
•

• 2+ Years of Experience in Data Analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (with emphasis on Excel and Power Point)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree with background in Math, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
•
• Skills and Competencies:

• Problem solving/analytical skills
• Self-starter, strong initiative, and an excellent communicator
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in scripting language preferred (R, Python, etc.)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools preferred (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience working with large quantities of data
