Role description
Location: Remote (Domestic U.S.) Duration: Short-term assignment (Until End of Fiscal Year, Jan. 2026) Overview: To support a consulting firm's initiative to reduce its data footprint, the Temporary IT Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying and securely disposing of outdated or unnecessary confidential client matter content. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards, including generating proof of disposition for audit purposes. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure strict confidentiality of all client and organizational data. • Conduct data discovery across multiple platforms and perform secure disposition of identified content. • Accurately document and maintain records of all data disposition activities for compliance reporting. • Escalate complex issues or exceptions to Tier 2 resources for specialized guidance or advanced processing. Required Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in IT with demonstrated ability to perform data management and destruction tasks. • Technical Skills: • Proficiency with Office 365 suite, including Azure, SharePoint, and Teams. • Hands-on experience with Windows file shares (e.g., Nasuni (cloud), VMWare (on-prem), Windows Fileshares, Nimble, Synology). • Familiarity with SQL databases and raw data handling. • Professional Attributes: • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team across the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Data Bricks, AWS, Huddle, Kiteworks, RelativityOne, Snowflake, Symphony CMS, and Tableau. • Knowledge of ServiceNow workflow processing. This pay rate ranges based on years of experience from 22-28/hr.
