

Data Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst with a background in Electric Operations (EO) to join our Asset Performance Management (APM) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for turning complex datasets into meaningful business insights and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position is critical to defining KPIs, monitoring asset health, and supporting maintenance and reliability strategies across our electric grid systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze APM system data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for metric and KPI development
• Partner with Electric Operations, SAM, and Substation teams to define and refine asset health indicators and performance metrics
• Conduct data validation and ensure high data quality for accurate and trustworthy insights
• Provide actionable recommendations based on findings to improve grid reliability and maintenance efficiency
• Collaborate with data engineers to align backend data integration with analytical needs
• Support Power BI development teams by structuring and translating data into clear, reportable formats (Note: This role does not require building dashboards)
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• 1–2 years of data analysis experience with Electric Operations or Utility Industry exposure strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Excel (including pivot tables and formulas)
• Familiarity with Asset Performance Management (APM) systems (Bentley, GE, Siemens, etc.) is a plus
• Understanding of maintenance analytics, work management, or asset lifecycle planning
• Experience collaborating with engineering, operations, or field teams in a utility environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate data insights into business recommendations

• Client-issued laptop will be provided
• Must be able to attend onsite interviews
