Senior Data Analyst โ SQL & Tableau
Location: Denver or "Remote"
6+ month Contract
Job Type: Data Analyst with SQL and Tableau
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be a critical member of our data and analytics team, responsible for delivering insights that drive decision-making across the organization. You will leverage your expertise in SQL and Tableau to develop reporting solutions, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and support long-term strategic initiatives. Your work will support stakeholders ranging from product managers and clinicians to senior leaders and operational teams.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring technical acumen, business understanding, and strong communication skills. You'll play a central part in helping our organization make data-driven decisions that improve outcomes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Report Development & Data Management
โข Develop, maintain, and distribute reports that support performance evaluation and product decision-making
โข Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient reporting solutions
โข Utilize SQL to query, clean, and structure data from relational databases
โข Build and publish Tableau dashboards and reusable data sources for internal consumption
โข Conduct QA and peer-review on reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and clarity
โข Maintain and improve documentation for reports and data models
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
โข Present and explain analytical findings to a range of stakeholders across departments
โข Clearly communicate timelines, progress, and priorities
โข Coordinate with compliance and legal partners to ensure responsible use of sensitive data
โข Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, clinical, and operations to understand needs and deliver actionable insights
Analytical Support
โข Perform ad-hoc analyses using SQL, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Prep
โข Provide insights into EMR usage, clinical outcomes, and operational performance
โข Apply statistical reasoning to assess data reliability and significance
โข Continuously look for opportunities to streamline analytical processes and improve reporting workflows
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
โข Bachelorโs degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Public Health)
โข 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases
โข Advanced Tableau experience (Tableau Desktop Certification preferred)
โข Strong experience communicating with business stakeholders and leadership
โข Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
โข Experience working within an SDLC framework
Preferred Qualifications
โข Experience in healthcare or clinical analytics
โข Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)
