Experience working with marine archaeology, offshore development, environmental data or historic environment records would be beneficial. Benefits • Defined benefit pension scheme with an employer contribution of 28.97%. • 28 days’ annual leave, pro rata where applicable. • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements. • Consideration of job sharing, part-time working and compressed hours. • Professional learning and development opportunities. • Corporate discounts. • Free entry to participating heritage attractions across England. • Support for employee wellbeing and work-life balance. • An inclusive and collaborative working environment. • Reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment and employment. Application Process Applications will be assessed against the essential criteria listed in the Requirements section. The recruitment process uses a structured, question-based application system designed to reduce bias and assess candidates against their skills and suitability. A CV may not be required during the initial application stage. Candidates should provide accurate and original responses that reflect their own knowledge and experience. Any use of artificial intelligence or other support tools should assist rather than replace the candidate’s personal responses. Interviews are provisionally expected to take place during the week commencing 24 August 2026. Our client is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds. Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates who are currently underrepresented within the organisation. • Flexible working arrangements and reasonable adjustments can be discussed during the recruitment process.
