Role description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Data Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities • Analyze data dictionaries and source files from vendors and confirm alignment with project needs and definitions. • Partner with development teams to clarify data requirements and propose practical solutions that support delivery. • Review technical specifications compare them with current SQL Server designs and validate load results for accuracy. • Write and run queries to access analyze and profile data structures within SQL Server environments. • Document findings assumptions and validation steps to support clear communication and repeatable processes. Requirements • Bring proven experience in a data analyst role or a similar analytical position. • Use SQL Server at an advanced level with strong query writing and troubleshooting skills. • Work confidently in Excel and related analysis tools to clean review and present data. • Maintain strong attention to detail and produce accurate results with consistent quality. • Write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively while organizing tasks and priorities. Qualifications • Collaborate well in team settings while being able to work independently with minimal direction. • Understand data warehousing ideas and ETL concepts and apply them when reviewing loads and transformations. • Bring experience in financial services or similar industries viewed as beneficial. • A Bachelor degree preferred with relevant experience considered as an alternative. • Demonstrate curiosity problem solving ability and a structured approach to validating complex data.
