Role description
The client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst for an exciting opportunity at our client.
In this position, you will be engaged within the advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives focused on emerging issue detection, problem definition, and resolution support within their team.
This is done in parallel with other data and product quality leaders located across their global sites.
In this position, you will use fundamental analytics approaches as well as advanced analytics techniques to accelerate the field quality issue-solving process.
This process includes conventional, electric, and fuel cell powertrains in our commercial vehicles and coaches.
As a global organization, this position involves collaboration with engineering and quality sites located across multiple international regions.
Requirements:
3+ years of data analysis experience in an automotive or commercial manufacturing industry.
Technical Stack: High proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python (or R), along with exposure to cloud environments (Azure, Spark, Jupyter).
Machine Learning: Working knowledge of supervised/unsupervised ML algorithms (e.g., K-means, Random Forest, anomaly detection, regression).
Data Experience: Familiarity with heavy data environments like warranty claims, manufacturing metrics, and vehicle telematics/logged data.
Education: Minimum Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Statistics.
