Role description
Our client, the U.S.’s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to support ongoing operational and analytics initiatives in a fully remote environment. This 4-month contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst with strong data storytelling abilities, experience managing and interpreting large datasets, and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (EST or CST preferred).
Job Description:
• Aggregate, manage, and analyze data to support operational decision-making and business insights
• Perform ad hoc analysis across structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop and maintain reports using existing business intelligence and reporting tools
• Cleanse, validate, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems
• Support data mining initiatives related to operations, including lab equipment maintenance tracking
• Assist with vendor-related data tracking and reporting as needed
• Present findings and insights in a clear, compelling manner to stakeholders, effectively “telling the story” behind the data
• Collaborate with internal teams, including data analysts and leadership, to improve processes and reporting capabilities
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of enhanced workflows
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs while managing multiple priorities
Must Have Qualifications:
• 4–7 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with data management, reporting, and data visualization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy
• Excellent time management skills with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly to stakeholders
• Experience using tools such as Smartsheet or similar platforms
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a broader team
Nice to Have Qualifications:
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or lab equipment operations
• Exposure to vendor management or operational analytics
• Experience with process improvement initiatives
