Role description
About the Role We’re seeking a data-driven Marketing Data Analyst to help us understand, predict, and optimize customer behavior and business performance. In this role, you’ll focus on churn analysis, revenue forecasting, and marketing performance measurement β€” providing insights that guide strategic decisions across our Marketing, Digital Services, and AI Agent Program teams. You’ll blend marketing analytics with business intelligence β€” designing experiments, building dashboards, and using data to tell clear stories about customer engagement and business impact. Key Responsibilities β€’ Churn & Revenue Analytics: β€’ Develop models and insights to identify drivers of customer churn and revenue growth. β€’ Provide data-driven recommendations to improve retention, upsell, and lifetime value. β€’ A/B Testing & Experimentation: β€’ Design, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests across digital and marketing channels. β€’ Partner with marketing and AI teams to measure the impact of new digital initiatives. β€’ Dashboarding & Reporting: β€’ Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor key KPIs (churn, conversion, campaign ROI, LTV, etc.). β€’ Ensure stakeholders have timely and accurate access to business performance insights. β€’ Data Exploration & Querying: β€’ Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources. β€’ Partner with data engineering and IT to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity. β€’ Business Impact & Case Development: β€’ Quantify the business impact of digital initiatives and marketing programs. β€’ Support business casing and forecasting for new initiatives, particularly in the AI Agent Program. β€’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: β€’ Work closely with the Digital Services and AI teams to connect analytics to product and service improvements. β€’ Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to align insights with business goals. Qualifications Required: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, or related field β€’ 3–5 years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in marketing, digital, or customer analytics) β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying large datasets β€’ Expertise in Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboard development β€’ Solid understanding of statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, confidence intervals, etc.) β€’ Experience conducting A/B tests and analyzing test results β€’ Excellent communication skills β€” able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Preferred: β€’ Experience with customer lifecycle or churn modeling β€’ Familiarity with AI-driven products or digital customer service programs β€’ Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical modeling β€’ Experience with marketing data sources (CRM, ad platforms, customer data platforms, etc.) Success in This Role Looks Like β€’ Clear, actionable insights that directly influence marketing and digital strategies β€’ Power BI dashboards that simplify decision-making for business leaders β€’ Measurable improvement in churn reduction, customer engagement, and revenue performance β€’ Strong cross-functional relationships and data-backed business cases for innovation About Us Moodys NWC is a result-driven management consulting firm headquartered in the Seattle metropolitan area. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $110k/year in our lowest geographic market up to $130k/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
