Data Analyst - Power BI

We are seeking a Sr Data Analyst with strong knowledge in Power BI, SQL and Alteryx who will design reports, develop dashboards, and provide data-driven recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. This role requires 3-days onsite in Charlotte, NC. Client Details This opportunity is with a large organization within the financial services industry. Description • Collaborate with business leaders to define objectives, requirements, and key data needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Knime to track KPIs and performance. • Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, generate insights, and support both strategic initiatives and ad-hoc business questions. • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through visualizations and storytelling, while ensuring data quality and providing training and support to end users. Profile • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role. • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, with working knowledge of Python and Excel for data manipulation and analysis. • Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Knime. • Solid understanding of data modeling, KPIs, and reporting best practices, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
