Data Analyst Report Writer

Project Overview: This role will support the development of a platform that showcases school system data in a clear and actionable way. The consultant will: • Analyze school system data and translate findings into practical recommendations • Build dashboards and data visualization tools (Power BI) • Develop and maintain low-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Qualtrics) • Create automated tools/forms to collect and organize data • Analyze statutory data across federal and state plans to identify redundancies • Develop scoring tools, Excel scorecards, and performance trackers • Support goal-setting and progress monitoring efforts Minimum Required Skills: • 8+ years of Analytics and Data Storytelling • 8+ years of Low-Code platform experience (Power Platform or similar) • 5+ years of Advanced Excel proficiency • 3+ years of Power BI / Data Visualization • Strong ability to synthesize data across multiple systems and requirements • Strong communication skills (ability to present to non-technical audiences) • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Preferred Skills: • Experience with Qualtrics and/or Smartsheet • Experience with state agencies, education sector, or government • Experience working with statutory/compliance data • Experience reducing duplication across reporting systems • Background in education, public sector, or civic tech
