About the Role
As a Data Solutions Analyst, you will work closely with internal teams to design, maintain, and optimize data models and pipelines that enable accurate reporting and analytics. You’ll help automate manual processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high data fidelity across systems. This role requires strong SQL expertise and a passion for building scalable, repeatable data solutions.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain data models and SQL pipelines to support visualization, analysis, and interpretation of business data.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual data pulls through scheduled queries and scalable solutions.
• Provide ongoing support for internal data users by debugging complex queries, reports, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues such as data discrepancies and latency by analyzing raw logs and query execution plans.
• Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications for data schemas and views.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and implement validation checks to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to understand logging, transactional storage, and data exchange formats.
• Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, schema definitions, and SQL best practices for the team.
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Experience with data pipeline (ETL) maintenance and data modeling.
• Familiarity with data warehousing technologies such as SQL, PLX, or BigQuery.
• Ability to read and debug SQL code effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
• Developing proficiency in system design and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to data exploration and basic statistical analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
