Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst - Senior Level in San Antonio, TX. Summary: Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a team that supports critical Financial Crimes functions, including Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Claims. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, helping translate complex business requests into actionable analytics and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional who can work directly with business partners, gather requirements, assess risk-related requests, and deliver meaningful insights through data. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and experience working within a banking or financial services environment. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements • Assess incoming requests and determine the appropriate analytical approach and solution • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and actionable business insights • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries across enterprise data environments • Investigate data quality issues and perform root-cause analysis • Understand and evaluate data flows, database structures, and overall system architecture • Support Financial Crimes initiatives related to Fraud, AML, and Claims operations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytic solutions that align with business objectives • Provide clear, concise communication of findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences Requirements • Experience building dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions; Ability to present complex findings in a way that business stakeholders can easily understand • Experience gathering requirements from business partners and translating needs into data-driven solutions • Advanced SQL development and data analysis skills; Ability to query, analyze, troubleshoot, and validate complex datasets • Strong understanding of database structures, data flows, and data architecture • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively through email, Slack, meetings, and presentations Technical Environment • Snowflake (approximately 90% of the data platform environment) • SQL • Tableau • SAS (preferred) • Python (nice to have) The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
