Role description
Data Analyst (PLM) – Contract
Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented data analyst to support a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system implementation initiative. In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and successful migration of critical product data by partnering with cross-functional teams to validate, cleanse, analyze, and maintain data across multiple systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career data professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with large datasets, and collaborating with both business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Support data migration activities related to Bills of Material (BOMs), parts, and associated documentation within a PLM environment.
• Validate and verify data prior to and following system data loads to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs.
• Assist with data cleanup and maintenance activities across PLM and ERP systems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems.
• Help improve reporting efficiency and support automation of manual processes where appropriate.
• Create and maintain documentation, work instructions, and process-related materials.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to support implementation activities and ongoing enhancements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and experience working with data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience working with PLM systems, ERP systems, or enterprise applications is preferred.
• Experience with Windchill or other Product Lifecycle Management platforms is a plus.
Work Schedule
• Hybrid schedule: Onsite Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday.
