Data Analyst with SQL

Role:-Data Analyst with SQL Duration:-6+ Months to Hire Location:-Jacksonville, FL-Onsite Job Description:- Need Snowflake, SQL and QA experience (creating test cases and testing of Queries). • Contribute to Snowflake and cloud data pipeline initiatives. • Documents data requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. • Validate data using SQL and Python. • Manipulate SQL, Excel, and Python data for analysis and profiling. • Create data flow diagrams. • Create high-level ER models. • Maintain a solid understanding of end-to-end application and data architecture to support requirements analysis, testing, and troubleshooting. • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. • Review and analyze business requirements documents to ensure adequate testing. • Develop and execute test cases based on requirements. • Conduct manual testing of applications, reports, ETL, and other software solutions. • Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts and other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions • Develop and maintain metadata standards, policies, and procedures. • Capture, document, and validate metadata for critical data assets across systems. • Ensure metadata is consistently applied and integrated into data catalogs and governance tools. • Assist in implementing data governance frameworks, including data stewardship and ownership models. • Monitor compliance with data governance policies and escalate issues as needed. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to align metadata practices with organizational goals. • Support data lineage documentation to track data flow and transformations. • Partner with data stewards to identify and resolve data quality issues. • Utilize data governance and metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation). • Work with data cataloging solutions to enhance discoverability and usability of data assets. • Provide training and guidance on metadata standards and governance processes. • Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and compliance teams.
