Role description
• Role: Data Analyst
• Location: Canary Wharf (Hybrid)
• Type: 1 year fixed term contract
Role: Data Analyst / Data Architect – Reporting Architecture
Role Overview
This role is part of the Reporting Architecture workstream, where you’ll play a key role in remediation planning, evidence quality assurance, and control & metric design. The position offers strong exposure to architecture assessment, governance, and compliance, working closely with platform owners and architecture teams to move from current to target state.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting Architecture Analysis:
• Review and validate current and target state inputs from platform owners and maintain progress tracking across architecture remediation initiatives.
• Remediation Planning & Execution:
• Develop and drive remediation plans to address architecture gaps, ensuring timely execution and closure.
• Evidence Quality Assurance (QA):
• Validate compliance evidence for accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness; establish QA processes to strengthen data integrity.
• Control & Metric Design:
• Design and implement controls and metrics to monitor reporting architecture compliance and measure remediation effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with platform owners, data architects, and governance teams; facilitate workshops and structured questionnaires to capture requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience: 8–10 years in Data Analysis, Data Architecture, or Reporting Architecture roles, preferably within BFSI or risk/regulatory environments
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting frameworks, and architecture principles
• Hands-on experience with SQL and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Exposure to metadata management and reporting governance
• Governance & Compliance:
• Experience in designing controls and metrics for data governance and remediation tracking
• Familiarity with evidence validation and QA processes
• Certifications (Preferred): DAMA, CDMP, or equivalent Data Management certifications
Key Competencies
• Strong understanding of reporting architecture and remediation planning
• Ability to design effective controls, metrics, and governance frameworks
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on evidence quality and compliance
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
