Data Scientist III – CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Analytics Location: Remote – Must work PST hours Pay Rate: • 85/hour Experience: 7–10 years Application Deadline: August 3 at 11:00 AM PST Interview Window: August 10–14 The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a high-impact CRM Marketing Analytics team supporting large-scale lifecycle marketing programs. This is an opportunity to influence customer engagement, retention, conversion, and revenue by transforming complex campaign data into clear, actionable strategies. You’ll work closely with marketing stakeholders, analyze campaigns primarily executed through Braze, build scalable data solutions, lead experimentation, and help improve how the organization uses data and AI throughout the customer lifecycle. What You’ll Do • Measure and optimize lifecycle campaigns across email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging, and other owned channels. • Analyze Braze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve targeting, personalization, engagement, and retention. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, join, transform, and validate customer and campaign data. • Build and support SQL data pipelines for scalable marketing analytics. • Use Python for advanced analysis, experimentation, automation, and reporting. • Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate experiments. • Analyze customer journeys, funnels, cohorts, segmentation, churn, retention, LTV, and engagement. • Build automated dashboards using Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or another visualization platform. • Define standardized CRM KPIs and reporting frameworks. • Present complex findings as clear recommendations for marketing stakeholders. • Use AI tools to streamline reporting, accelerate analysis, and automate repetitive workflows. • Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and business alignment. What You’ll Bring • 7–10 years of professional data science or analytics experience. • Direct CRM and lifecycle marketing analytics experience. • Hands-on Braze experience. • Advanced SQL and SQL data-pipeline experience. • Professional Python data-analysis experience. • Strong A/B testing and experimentation expertise. • Experience measuring lifecycle campaigns and CRM KPIs. • Dashboard-development and data-storytelling experience. • Hands-on professional experience with AI-enabled analytics or reporting tools. • Ability to work remotely during PST hours. Preferred Experience • Qlik Sense. • AI agents, prompt engineering, or workflow automation. • Regression, forecasting, and predictive modeling. • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior analysts. Interview Process • First Round: SQL coding and data-analytics assessment. • Second Round: Experimentation case discussion and formal interview.
