Role description
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a high-impact analytics team responsible for analyzing business performance and delivering insights used by executive leadership. This role will focus on combining data from multiple internal sources, analyzing financial and operational metrics, and preparing reporting used for strategic decision-making.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity with strong potential for extension.
Responsibilities
• Combine and analyze data from multiple internal databases to track financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets
• Build analytical models and reporting to support business performance analysis
• Develop executive-ready reports and presentations summarizing key trends and insights
• Support leadership reporting cycles by collecting and validating data from cross-functional teams
• Partner with data, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and alignment
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends impacting business performance
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, FP&A, consulting, or corporate finance
• Strong experience writing SQL queries and working with large datasets
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience analyzing financial or operational KPIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate technical analysis into executive-ready insights and presentations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to Have
• Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses
• Background working with financial analytics or investor-related reporting
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Location: Fully Remote (U.S.), working EST hours
• Contract: 6 months with potential extension
• Interview Process: Initial technical screening including SQL assessment
