Apply via Dice today! • Title: Data Analyst / Power BI Developer Terms of Employment W2 Contract, 12 Months (Likely Extension / Possible Permanent Conversion) This position is onsite Monday Friday in Oakbrook Terrace, IL working normal business hours. Overview & Responsibilities Work with a leading organization within their New Business and Distribution Operations division. The team is seeking two Business Systems Analysts to bridge the gap between complex data systems and business intelligence. You will be responsible for extracting data from various utility-based systems to create the reporting and analytics tools the business needs to manage service orders, billing, and field activities. You will Extract data from multiple database systems, including a Data Analytics Platform (DAP) and an Oracle-based Customer Information System (CIS). Write, modify, and enhance SQL queries to pull specific data sets related to customer accounts and service points. Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that provide daily, weekly, and monthly analytics to business stakeholders. Automate reporting processes to ensure long-term sustainability of data delivery. Collaborate with a team of approximately 12 stakeholders, including managers and other analysts, to translate business needs into technical data requirements. Required Qualifications 2 to 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting. Advanced SQL skills (ability to write original queries and navigate complex tables). Proven experience in Power BI development and dashboard creation. General understanding of database structures and the ability to link data sets from different systems. Strong critical thinking and innovative problem-solving mindset. Ability to work on-site daily at Lincoln Center. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle-based systems or Accenture s CC&B (Customer Care and Billing). Experience within the Utilities industry or working with field activity/service order data. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI or SQL related).
