Role description
• Remote, working 9am - 5pm aligned to your time zone.
• 6-month contract as a W2 employee of Talent Groups.
We are seeking multiple Data Analysts with strong T-SQL expertise to support large-scale data processing and analysis of high-volume credit card transaction data. You’ll work with billions of transaction records, leveraging advanced SQL skills to extract insights, identify anomalies, and ensure data integrity across massive datasets.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on digging into complex data, proactively challenges assumptions, and takes ownership of data accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, validate, and process large volumes of financial transaction data using T-SQL.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and performance efficiency.
• Investigate anomalies, trends, and outliers across massive datasets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Develop reports and insights to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or SQL Developer.
• Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, including advanced query optimization and data manipulation.
• Experience working with high-volume transactional or financial data.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and data quality issues.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
