Role description
Financial Crime Data Analysts - x2 We are working with a national financial service firm who are looking to add 2 Financial Crime Data Analyst’s on 18 month fixed term contracts to develop and enhance their financial crime controls. Responsibilities β€’ Produce statistical analysis, predictive models and analytical insights to support financial crime risk management. β€’ Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and opportunities for control enhancements. β€’ Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Support the development of smarter management information, trend analysis and business insights within the Financial Crime function. β€’ Develop a strong understanding of financial crime systems, controls and processes to drive continuous improvement. β€’ Utilise data-driven benchmarking and performance analysis to identify best practices, operational efficiencies and areas of risk. β€’ Apply statistical, analytical and modelling techniques to support the calibration and optimisation of financial crime technologies and controls. β€’ Produce high-quality written and verbal reporting, communicating findings and recommendations effectively. β€’ Support the ongoing development of analytical capability within the wider Financial Crime team through knowledge sharing and specialist data expertise. Requirements β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with complex datasets. β€’ Experience conducting quantitative analysis and supporting model development or deployment. β€’ Proficiency in one or more of the following: SAS, SQL, Python or R. β€’ Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret large volumes of data. β€’ Experience of collaborating with financial crime teams is highly desirable. β€’ Experience working collaboratively across teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
